Saniderm Aftercare

Please only use this aftercare if you were requested to do so by your artist.

1. Your first piece (typically applied by your tattooer) should stay on 8-24 hours, depending on how much the area weeps. It is normal for blood and fluids to collect under the bandage.

2. To remove, gently pull the bandage back over itself in the direction of hair growth. Pull low and parallel to the skin. Try to avoid pulling upward.

3. Clean the area and dry thoroughly; ensure the skin is clear of any soap residue. (Lotions or ointments are not necessary and will interfere with adhesion).

4. Peel off the paper backing to expose the adhesive side of the second bandage.

5. Gently apply the bandage using light pressure. For best results, ensure skin is in a neutral position. Do not stretch the bandage while applying.

6. Remove plastic backing, leaving only the thin clear bandage on the skin.

7. The second bandage can be worn for several days. Do not wear any piece longer than 7 days.
